At the Faculty of Information Technology, we integrate technological, informational, organizational and business perspectives alongside a human approach into our research. Our research is also characterized by close collaboration with businesses, other universities and research institutes, and the public sector. Our goal is international excellence in research quality.

Our key research areas form one of the strategic core fields in the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥'s research profile: Information technology and the human in the knowledge society.

Our research activity is arranged into research teams that focus on four main areas of study. We are currently studying topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, cyber security, educational use of technology and multi-objective optimization.

Tenure Track Career Path at the Faculty of Information Technology

At the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, you can progress to a professorship through the tenure track. The faculty has four main areas of research: (1) computational sciences, (2) cognitive science and educational technology, (3) software and telecommunication technology and (4) information systems. The faculty’s tenure track positions are placed within these areas of research.
