Research information systems
Converis
The Converis research information system (CRIS) promotes the visibility, accessibility and impact of researchers' and JYU's research. Information on researchers and research is presented on the and in . Data are also transmitted to national information portals, statistical services and information hub services.
In addition to researchers, the information produced by the research information system helps the university's management and the staff serving the researchers in their tasks. For example, research support services can (based on messaging provided by the system) help the researcher to carry out their tasks and resolve any issues that arise. The university's management receives information on supplementary funding -related project activities planned and underway, and results are generated from the university's research activities.
The aim of the Converis research information system is to support the highlighting of the competence and expertise of the JYU research community.
The research information system contains information on researchers and specialists, publications with JYU-related affiliation, metadata of research datasets, and research activities.
The research information system also includes project proposals and projects related to supplementary funding (including personal grants). At present, the system does not include scholarship-type funding applied for and received internally by the University (e.g. for the completion of a dissertation or mobility).
Welcome to view the information contained in the Converis Research Information System!
Please see the quick help page on using system using the system and reaching support services. More extensive information on recorded data and processes is described in (requires ).
TUTKA
The earlier research information system, , is limited to the internal use of university. Converis has mostly replaced its modules but the system is still used to record information on international visitors and visits.
Research Information Services (with Division of Policy & Planning and Open Science Centre) is responsible for the research information systems at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥. Converis development is part of Research Information System 2.0 project. Larger development packages are determined by the .
