Lecture halls 1-3 at the Department of Chemistry, Ylistö library and  restaurant Kvarkki will be in normal use on Tuesday 17.9. from 12 o’clock onwards.

Due to the chemical odor at the Kvarkki corridor, as a precaution, lecture halls 1-3 at the Department of Chemistry are closed for Monday. Also the Ylistö library and restaurant Kvarkki are closed.

The broken axel in air conditioning device caused problems in air ventilation and caused unidentified chemical odor at the 2nd floor of the Ylistö library building early in the Friday morning.

A chemical odor was observed this morning on the second floor hall in the Department of Physics building close to the Kvarkki restaurant (at the Chemistry end of the building).
