The Ģ��ֱ�� introduced electronic degree certificates in spring 2023. Until now, it has been possible to order a paper copy of the degree certificate free of charge, but now the delivery of these copies will end.

The Ģ��ֱ�� and the Student Union JYY will once again celebrate Pride during Jyväskylä Pride week from 2 to 8 September. This year, the University will open the atmospheric Old Forge in Seminaarinmäki for free for marriage ceremonies.

The Board of the Ģ��ֱ�� approved the goals and key objectives of the three development programmes of the University’s renewed strategy “Wisdom and wellbeing for us all” in its meeting on 14 June 2024.

On 1 August 2024, the Ģ��ֱ�� will no longer offer basic and intermediate studies in Spanish language, in accordance with the decision made by Rector Jari Ojala on 6 June 2024.
