Nuorten yrittäjyys ja talous NYT organizes the Junior Achievement Company program for higher education students. NYT companies operate in real markets and offer real products or services to real customers. The course is implemented on a virtual platform and is designed to support the establishment of a company and its testing with customers. The course offers an excellent basis for testing your own ideas and skills, creating new types of products/services, and developing skills needed in business and working life.

Completing the course does not require a ready-made business idea, in-depth business knowledge or the intention to start your own company. Students can try entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial-like activities safely and apply their working life knowledge in a creative way.

The Junior Achievement Company program is part of the Young Entrepreneurship network, and the participants get to compete for participation in the final held in Europe. A similar course is organized at the same time in other universities around Finland.

You can start completing the course at any time during the academic year, but if you want to participate in the Uskalla Yrittää -final and compete for entry to the European level Junior Achievement final, you must have registered your company on the NYT -platform before the final. The final is usually held in April.

You register for the course in the educational institution's own system. After registering, send a message to the teacher responsible of the course, they will put you on the NYT platform, where you can complete assignments and develop your company!
