The delivery of paper copies of degree certificates ends
An electronic degree certificate is an official certificate and its paper copy is not the equivalent of an official certificate. It is still possible to request a free printout for degrees completed by 31.7.2024. The printout must be ordered from by the end of July. The copy of the electronic diploma is printed on plain white copy paper and is not stamped, signed or certified.
Since the early days of the electronic degree certificates, the number of people requesting a printout has decreased, with around one in ten graduates currently requesting a printout.
Faculties will be able to distribute paper printouts to those who take part in graduation ceremony after 1 August 2024.
