Design your own pin for the Pride Week pin workshop!
The University and the Student Union have traditionally distributed Pride-themed pins during Pride Week. This year, in addition to the JYU x JYY pins, members of the university community will also have a chance to design their own pin design!
What kind of Pride pin would you like to get to make for yourself? Design one and send us a picture of it. The university community chooses three of their favourite pins from the submitted designs in August.
Instructions for the design
For the pin, a print-quality file of the design is required:
- Size 70 mm x 70 mm, file format pdf
- The pin is round and the size of the image area on the finished pin is just under 6 cm in diameter. When designing the design, it's worth bearing in mind the 6 mm cutting margin on each edge.
Send your design by Sunday 11 August 2024. In the form you need to include your email address for contact and the name you would like published with the work (this can be your real name or a pseudonym).
By submitting a design, you grant the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ the rights to use the design, including the right to edit, produce and make available to the public. The submitter is responsible for ensuring that the material does not violate the copyright of any third party. The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is not liable for any third party claims against the material.
We reserve the right to edit the design to make it printable. Submissions will be reviewed before voting begins and any inappropriate submissions will be removed.
Privacy notice
Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ Pride pin competition. The basis for processing your personal data is established in the GDPR (EU 679/2016, Article 6, Section 1a). The processor of personal data is Webropol. The controller is the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥. Your data will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties. The University has guidelines on the rights of the data subject. Data of non-elected candidates will be deleted by 30.9.2024. The data privacy notice of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ Registry office and archive applies to the data of the winners of the vote. The university community will be voting for their favourite designs in August, and the pin-making workshop will take place during Jyväskylä Pride week on 2-8 September 2024.
