The university's Assistant team will provide you information on travelling, accommodation, and grant payment and support you with your visit.

Doctoral Students whose home universities do not have a cooperation agreement with the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ can apply to the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ as so called Visiting Doctoral Students.
You main contact person at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is the faculty-level International Coordinator and your supervisor. International Staff Services assists you with official matters relating to entering the country and settling-in to Finland and Jyväskylä. The practical arrangements at the department/faculty will be taken care of the Assistant of your unit.
If you come to the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ to complete a traineeship and to carry out studies, you can apply for a study right for the period defined in the traineeship agreement.

International Staff Services assists you with official matters relating to entering the country and settling-in to Finland and Jyväskylä. The practical arrangements at the department/faculty will be taken care of the Assistant of your unit.

If your visit lasts for up to 30 days, the university's Assistant team will support you during your visit. They will also provide you an invitation letter it it's needed for a visa application.
