We at the International Staff Services (ISS) team provide support services to our international staff, supporting international employees, doctoral students, grant researchers and long-term visitors and their families arriving in Finland in matters related to immigration, Finnish authorities and settling in Finland.
For employees leaving for postings abroad, we prepare an agreement concerning posting abroad and take care of tasks related taxation, insurance, pension, social security, reimbursement of expenses, and statutory obligations.
For our locally hired employees abroad, we provide information on taxation, pension, social security, and insurance related to the local work abroad, and for all categories we identify and manage the related international employer obligations.
We work closely with units’ contact persons, HR Partners, HR Coordinators, Assistants, Travel Secretaries and Project Controllers.
We provide customer service mainly by email, phone and Teams meetings. Any personal meetings will be agreed upon in advance.
