Research profiling and research communities
The Research Council of Finland strengthens the research capacity of universities by providing funding for profiling. The aim of the Profi funding is to support universities' profiling and develop the quality of research in thematic research areas.
The Research Council of Finland grants competitive funding to Finnish universities to support them in strengthening their research profiles. The aim of the funding is to support and speed up the strategic profiling of the universities in order to improve the quality of research. The funding is limited in time and is used to finance the profiling areas chosen by each university on the basis of its own strategy.
The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ has chosen its profiling areas on the basis of its research priorities and the level of research. For more information on the areas and projects at JYU, please contact Vice-Rector Kaisa Miettinen and Specialist Timo Taskinen.

JYU.Wisdom is an open, scientific community actively promoting planetary well-being in society. Professor Janne Kotiaho is the directore of JYU.Wisdom.
