It focuses on how these, including variety of evaluative practices, e.g., formative assessment, self-evaluation, peer evaluation, and grades, are used and referred to in making educational, occupational, and career plans and choices. In the study, guidance counselling classes in two research schools will be observed during lower secondary education studies. Also, student, guidance counsellors and teacher experiences on assessment and the role of it in making choices are at the core focus.
