I'm doing a PhD on school absenteeism among lower secondary school students. My dissertation contains three articles. The first article (published in 2022) was an integrative literature review of factors associated with school attendance problemes types (SAP-types). The second article (under peer review) deals with concerns related to the transition from primary to lower secondary school and their relationship to school absenteeism due to sickness, truancy and other reasons. In the third article (forthcoming), I will examine the association between peer relationships and school absenteeism in the seventh grade.
