The old Mailman email list service (lists.jyu.fi) used at the university will be updated to a new one, and as a result, unnecessary email lists will be removed from the service. The cleanup of the lists is expected to be completed during spring 2025.

The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥'s open digital repository JYX will be updated to a new version on 12.2.2025.

The functionality of the university’s text message system will be tested on Tuesday, 26 November 2024. A test message will be sent to all JYU students to the numbers saved in the OMA account service. Do not respond to the message.

International Venture Academy 2025

The twelfth Conferment of Degrees Ceremony for Masters and Doctors from all faculties of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ will be held on 22–24 May 2026.

The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ was involved in the Talent Boost programme launched by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
