Mailman email list service will be updated – read more on the project page
The old Mailman email list service (lists.jyu.fi) used at the university will be updated to a new one, and as a result, unnecessary email lists will be removed from the service. The cleanup of the lists is expected to be completed during spring 2025. List holders will be informed in good time of the implications and actions concerning their list.

List administrators and primary users will receive more detailed instructions on updating active Mailman email lists related to the university's activities to the new service at a later date. No old lists will be automatically transferred to the new Mailman or IdM/OMA lists.
Email lists maintained on the Mailman service that are not related to the activities of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ will be deleted. If the mailing list is active, please retrieve mailing list messages if needed and inform list members of the upcoming change.
The support email mailmancleanup@jyu.fi has been very busy at the beginning of the year, but all messages received will be taken into account.
