Cooperation with the Faculty of Education and Psychology
Collaboration takes place in the areas of teaching, research, internships, theses and alumni work.
The research groups in the Faculty of Education and Psychology work with international research groups to obtain external project funding and write scientific publications.
The Faculty has a wide range of research, training and development collaborations with schools, day-care centres and various welfare and psychological service providers in the region. Examples include thesis-related research and development projects.
The faculty and its departments also work closely with various educational organisations: other faculties and departments of education, departments of teacher education, psychology departments through the Psykonet network, the Kokkola University Centre Chydenius, the Teaching Training School (Normaalikoulu), the Institute for Educational Research, the Open University. Universities of applied sciences, especially JAMK, vocational colleges, especially Gradia, the EduFutura network and the Finnish Music Campus are well-established partners.
The Faculty of Education and Psychology is an active member of the university's international educational cooperation.
Our professionals and alumni are actively involved with education export in collaboration with EduCluster Finland, from early childhood education to higher education development e.g. in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Shanghai.
Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ Alumni network is open for our students and staff. All graduates of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ are its alumni. International exchange students, graduates, and international staff members of JYU are welcome to join the alumni community!
