University Management

The University is managed by the rector and vice-rectors. The highest decision-making body of the University is the University Board.

Rector and Vice Rectors

The Rector of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is Jari Ojala. Marja-Leena Laakso is Vice Rector for Education, Kaisa Miettinen is Vice Rector for Research and Pasi Raiskinmäki is Vice Rector for societal interaction.

The University Board has seven members. The Board’s duties include, for example, selecting the rector and determining the objectives of the University operations and finances, the strategy, management principles and operating regulations.
