Master's Degree Programme in International Business and Entrepreneurship

Applications for master's degree programmes can be submitted once a year in January.
Master’s Degree Programme in International Business and Entrepreneurship is a two-year (120 ECTS) full-time programme taught in English. Studies begin in September and there is no mid-point entry to the programme.
International IBE programme is a generalist programme that covers key areas in international business, entrepreneurship, and strategy. These three elements are at the heart of contemporary business, where the emphasis is on creativity, diversity, and innovation. In addition, the degree contains modules in business skills, research skills, communication and language studies.
Student profile
The student body is predominantly international, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate with fellow students from over 20 different nationalities. We actively encourage students to gain international experience in various ways. For instance, they can participate in international professional training programs at enterprises in Finland or abroad.
Additionally, students have the option to include an exchange study period as part of their degree program. At IBE, we explore organizational decision-making from technological, strategic, political, and institutional perspectives.

The Strategy and Entrepreneurship (S&E) research group
The Strategy and Entrepreneurship (S&E) research group addresses core questions in the fields of strategy and entrepreneurship research. The group members teach on the Master’s Degree Programme in International Business and Entrepreneurship and on the Basic Studies in Entrepreneurship study entity as well as on the doctorate level.
