Programme info
Applications for master's degree programmes can be submitted once a year in January.
To complete the programme, you must earn 120 ECTS credits. Studying full time, you will graduate within 2 years.
Applications for this master's degree programme can be submitted once a year in January, and once accepted, your studies will begin in September. From this programme you will graduate with a Master of Sports Sciences.
The programme offers three possible fields of specialisation to choose from: Exercise Physiology, Science of Sport Coaching and Fitness Testing and Biomechanics.
Student profile
The programme educates academic experts who understand the interactive mechanisms between different physiological systems and physical exercise, and their theoretical background. The programme is designed to prepare students for careers in research centres, medical rehabilitation centres, sports medicine and exercise testing centres, sports academies and physical exercise and sports organisations. It also qualifies students to apply for postgraduate studies in the field.
The students come from all over the world and also the teachers have a great deal of international experience. Students have frequent possibilities to attend lectures by internationally recognized scientists from all over the world.
