SIMHE services offers guidance for migrants, who are interested in higher education in Finland.

SIMHE services are targeted to migrants looking for guidance to higher education. You are welcomed to contact Simhe-services (Supporting Immigrants in Higher Education), if you are looking for information about higher education or about working in your academic profession in Finland. 

SIMHE-services can support you in the following topics

  • planning your academic studies
  • how to apply to higher education institutions
  • career planning
  • supplementing your previous studies
  • looking for language training

Would you like to talk with SIMHE’s counsellor?

SIMHE guidance can help you to plan your path in higher education according to your previous education, profession and language skills. We will discuss your career interests and what you need to do to achieve your goals. We can sort out the schedules of studies you are interested in and whether you need more guidance. The discussion is confidential and the duration of the meeting is about one hour. We can arrange guidance discussion face to face at the campus of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ or online (in Zoom/Teams). The guidance can be held in Finnish or English.
