Education description

The Doctoral Programme of the Department of Language and Communication Studies brings together diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives for investigating how language and communication matter in the changing society. The doctoral students join an international, multi-disciplinary and multilingual research environment. They can take part in high-level seminars and workshops organized by various international research teams and networks. Their work is supervised by leading scholars in their field of study.

The programme offers its students up-to-date and stimulating research training on language and communication, with a particular emphasis on high-quality supervision and transferable skills for expert work, including independent, critical thinking, ethical conduct, international networking and publishing.
