With sensitive eyes
Gaze is an essential part of interaction in early childhood education and care (ECEC) and we are studying it with eye-tracking technology. In this project we concentrate on ECEC teachers’ visual gaze during teacher–child interactions in groups of children under three years old in Finland.

Research group description
In this project we concentrate on ECEC teachers’ visual gaze during teacher–child interactions in groups of children under three years old in Finland. Research group members are interested in ECEC and are at different stages of research careers. In this project all participants bring their specific expertise to the work of the group. With sensitive eyes -project requires competence in the contents of ECEC, the content of ECEC teachers work and also technical knowledge.
