Two JYU professors in the world list of super researchers

The Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers list comprises researchers whose research publications are among the top one percent of the most often cited publications in their field. The number of references is based on Web of Science data over the past ten years. The list is published once a year. Kuznetsov and Hagger are listed in the category of multidisciplinary research.
Professor Martin Hagger has worked in the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, since 2015. At present, he is also working as a professor at the University of California and as a visiting professor at Griffith University, Australia. He is one of the leaders of the BC-Well-profiling area (The behaviour change, health, and well-being across the lifespan) and applies in his research social-psychological theory to the prediction, understanding and changing of health behaviour. In his career, Hagger has written more than 400 publications.
Nikolay Kuznetsov holds a doctoral degree from the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ and has worked as a part-time professor in the Faculty of Information Technology since 2016. In addition, Kuznetsov works as a professor at the State University of St. Petersburg. His innovative combination of mathematics and information technology in solving difficult problems of computational sciences has led to several scientific breakthroughs. At present, Kuznetsov is focused especially on the research of dynamic systems and applied mathematics. Nikolay Kuznetsov has written and co-authored more than 250 articles and monographs. In 2020, he was invited to membership in the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters.
There are altogether 31 Finnish researchers in the list of most cited researchers. Overall, the list of super researchers includes 6,602 researchers from over 70 countries. The world list of scientific citations illustrates the significance of a researcher’s work within the scientific community of the particular field.
