JYU OK? A workshop on mental wellbeing

Feel­ing stressed or anx­ious about your stud­ies or uni­ver­si­ty life? We're here to help you in nav­i­gat­ing chal­lenges, cop­ing with stress, and en­hanc­ing your men­tal well-be­ing.

For whom?

The JYU OK? Mental wellbeing -workshop is a free for all international Master’s degree students who feel like they might need support with their mental wellbeing or student life related issues.

What?  

This workshop is based on the Student Compass program, and consists of group meetings and discussions with others, individual tasks and feedback. Some themes we will cover include 

  • acknowledging your values - what is really important to you? 
  • finding ways to take actions towards your goals 
  • coping with difficult thoughts and feelings 
  • being present in the moment and letting go of rumination 
  • other themes that are important or relevant to you  

When?  

Workshop will be held on Wednesdays at 15.00-17.00 (17.30) at Jyväskylä’s University Library Lähde or Agora.
