Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥

We have a pleasure to call PhD students of JYU to the FORTHEM Researcher Grand Prix Semifinal at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥. The Researcher Grand Prix 2025 is organized during JYU Business Networking Day in Paviljonki Congress Centre on 1.10.2025. Each participant will be asked to prepare a four-minute presentation of their research project. Presentations are held in front of the Yrityspäivä audience and a specially selected jury. A good candidate is someone who has a strong desire to communicate their research work, present their academic work in a public forum, and to learn more about research dissemination.

Semifinals will be organized in different FORTHEM universities. The Université Bourgogne Europe in Dijon, France, welcomes PhD students from the FORTHEM universities who have won the local Researcher Grand Prix Semifinal at their own university. These national local competitions will take place in September and October 2025, and the winner will then travel to France to compete in the . The travel expenses to France will be supported by FORTHEM Alliance primarily by a student travel grant.

How to participate?

In order to participate in the Semifinal of the Researcher Grand Prix at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, you need to provide us with the following:

• Your contact information
• A text of no more than 150 words that clearly describes your research and what you are working on.
• A short introduction video (1-2 mins) where you present yourself and your project.
• Submit your proposal on 11th August at the latest via

We will choose 6-8 participants to take part in the semifinals from all the received applications. One finalist will be chosen to represent JYU.
