Changes in study facilities in spring 2025

The student facilities in the Fennicum building will be closed by the end of March. Student, group work and subject association spaces will move to the 1st floor of the main building. If you have applied for an access keycard for Fennicum, it will automatically be valid for the main building. Outside the main building's opening hours, access to the premises is via the side door facing the campus field. The main building study facilities will open during March. We will inform you about this separately.
Study facilities at campus
There is plenty of quiet study space in the Aalto library in the main building. You can access the Aalto library from the side door of the main building. Elsewhere on campus, quiet spaces can be found in the library Lähde (quiet reading halls on the second and third floors).
Group study rooms can be found on the ground floors of the Lähde library, in the Ruusupuisto (2nd and 3rd floors), in the main building (from March) and, as a new addition, on the 2nd floor of the Music Campus. Thanks to good soundproofing, the group work spaces on the Music Campus are also suitable for music practice. Group workshops can be booked on Navi.
The Opinkivi 24/7 space, previously offered to students by the University, has been closed due to space changes. Efforts are being made to find a replacement for the 24/7 space on campus.
Navi makes it easy to book spaces
