Registration for open university studies as an alumni
Instructions for registering for JYU Open University studies as an alumni student.

All JYU graduates who have graduated after 1 August 2023 and have an active alumni study right can take courses at the JYU Open University free of charge until the end of the second academic year after their graduation.
- The studies at the Open University can last longer than the alumni study right.
You are entitled to study for free at the JYU Open University if
- you have graduated from your degree programme on 1 August 2023 or after
- you have a valid alumni study right at JYU
- you contact the Student Service Desk on HelpJYU when you wish to register for a course at the open university
