Kasvatus is a scientific periodical published by the Finnish Educational Research Association. The journal has been awarded Level 2 in the Finnish Publication Forum classification. In addition, it has been granted the peer review label of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) for its commitment to the peer-reviewed (double blind) evaluation process.
Kasvatus is published online five times a year, two of which are theme issues focusing on specific topics in the field of educational sciences. It publishes annually approximately 30 original peer-reviewed research articles and reviews, as well as non-peer-reviewed texts e.g. shorter articles, columns and commentaries.
Kasvatus is a local language (Finnish and Swedish) journal with the research article abstracts in English.
