Biography
I am a publishing coordinator in the publishing support team at the Open Science Centre (OSC) of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥. My team guides researchers in various areas concerning open scientific publishing.
My tasks, in particular, include the coordination and development of university units’ publishing activities. I also coordinate and develop the open online publications series JYU Studies, JYU Reports and JYU Dissertations published by the OSC.
I have an MA degree in Communication Studies (JYU 2004) and before my current work, I have worked as a publicist, journalist and researcher. I am particularly interested in scientific communication, and in my current work I especially enjoy guiding researchers and research groups in improving the openness and societal impact of their publishing activities.
I'm also a doctoral student at the Department of Language and Communication Studies at JYU. In my doctoral dissertation, I investigate the characteristics, development and maintaining of problematic relationship at work. I am a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal of communication and social interaction Prologi during 2023-2024.
