Jyväskylä Summer School - a fun time learning in an international environment!

Jyväskylä Summer School, organized at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ this year for the 34th time, offers participants the chance to advance their academic expertise in STEM – science, technology, engineering, mathematics – while creating scientific networks and memories. It is also a great opportunity to spend time in an international science community. Jyväskylä Summer School will be organized 4 – 15 August.

Majority of the 34th Jyväskylä Summer School courses fall under the following two themes: Quantum Science and Probability Theory Advanced Approaches for Secure and Intelligent Technologies.

Jyväskylä Summer School offers courses for advanced Bachelor’s students, Master’s students, PhD students and post-docs in various fields of natural sciences, mathematics and information technology. All courses are taught in English by distinguished researchers from all over the world. Thus, the Summer School provides students with an excellent opportunity to participate in a large number of courses and benefit from high-quality interdisciplinary teaching.

For the students of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, the Summer School offers a chance to take part in interesting summer courses and gain international experience on the home campus. Students enrolled at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ apply by signing up for the courses in Sisu.

Participation in all Summer School courses is free of charge. Students from all over the world are encouraged to apply.

In 2025 the summer school joins in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Mathematics and Science.

The application period for the Summer School is 1 March – 30 April.
