Graduation is the reward after a long period of studying hard. Our faculty wants to remember our master's degree graduates with a celebration held in their honor, the Diploma Conferment Ceremony. So, it is time to brush the dust off your formal wear and polish your dancing shoes! The next Diploma Conferment Ceremony of the Faculty of Mathematics and Science will be held on 21 August 2025 at 18.00 in Café & Restaurant Vesilinna, Jyväskylä.
Those who have graduated in the academic year 2024-2025, their thesis supervisors, and the department staff will be invited to the ceremony.
Programme
The programme includes a buffet dinner. A short speech is given by Vice Dean, Prof. Maija Nissinen. The event lasts for approximately 3 hours.

- Registration will open on 16.6.2025. You can register for the Diploma Conferment Ceremony by filling in an electronic registration form () by August 7th.

I didn’t get an invitation. Can I participate in the Diploma Conferment Ceremony?
Anyone who has completed a master’s degree at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ in July 2024 or after that, can participate in the ceremony in August 2025. Invitations to the Diploma Conferment Ceremony 2025 are sent in May 2025 to all who have completed their degree after the invitations were sent to the previous ceremony, that was held in August 2024.
