Cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Science

We offer a range of opportunities for active cooperation with students, companies and other organizations. We want to bring our expertise and research into wider use in society on the regional, national and international levels.

Our international expert community engages in high-quality research and provides research and consultancy support in issues calling for scientific expertise. Our cooperation partners can also make use of our research equipment and laboratories. In addition, other JYU facilities, such as sauna and meeting rooms, can be booked for external use as well.

Cooperation between former students and our University offers our current students an opportunity to get acquainted with the world of work and also a chance for natural and close collaboration with companies that employ our alumni. If you feel you need new skills for your current work, we can provide supplementary post-graduate training. Moreover, we cooperate with schools and educational institutes to introduce the natural sciences to a wider audience by arranging school visits to our premises.
