Motivation, learning and environment for learning

The aim of the research group is the identification of individual factors, structural factors, and interactional processes that foster or jeopardise student skill development, engagement and motivation.

The research also develops policies to support individual development and assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of these policies.

In particular, research will focus on individual developmental trajectories, learning difficulties, critical school transitions, cumulative risk and protective factors affecting development, and the study of the development of, for example, interaction, motivation or learning-related emotions as real-time processes.
