Research Council’s Konnevesi funding for research groups and for students finishing their theses

The Konnevesi funding scheme aimed at research groups of 2–5 persons at JYU for finalizing a research plan, a research proposal for external funding, and/or writing a scientific article to be submitted to an international refereed journal. Also individual Doctoral Researchers are eligible applicants.

Who can apply?

JYU researchers with employment contract with the University and grant researchers can apply for the funding. In addition to them, Master's Students (enrolled at the JYU) with an employment relationship with the Ģֱ can apply for Konnevesi funding for finalizing thesis (master's thesis).

Note that Doctoral Students and Master’s Students, who are enrolled at the Ģֱ but are not employed by the University, may apply for Rector's Konnevesi grant for writing their theses.

  • the daily allowance valid at the time of the visit (see JYU travel guidelines)

Visitors can book workrooms and meal services equivalent to full board (Mon-Fri: breakfast, lunch, evening meal). On weekends, meal services are not available (that is the canteen at the Research Station is closed). Accommodation in a shared apartment with shared kitchen facilities, toilet and shower.
