Education Council

Education Council is the University’s expert body and its members represent the expertise in education in a versatile way, taking into account the University’s faculties and disciplines.

Term of Office 1.1.2022-31.12.2025

The Education Council also has student members. According to the University rules and regulations the tasks of the Education Council are to support the Rector, faculties and departments in promoting the quality of teaching, to make initiatives to the Rector to develop education, to decide on the general selection criteria of students, and to fulfill assignments given by Rector.

The Education Council can call for expert members at their will. Director of Student and Academic Services or a person they appoint acts as a Secretary for the Council.

Research Council

The Research Council is in charge of monitoring and supervising the implementation of the University's Strategy according to the action plan approved by the University Board.

The University Collegium has 30 members, who all have personal deputies
