Follow-up groups

Follow-up groups are used e.g. for recording publications and projects as well as in researcher profiles to to mark classification information relevant to the unit or university.

Follow-up groups are utilized e.g. in Power BI -, on university web pages (publication lists) and in other reports related to research funding and outputs.

Follow-up groups are determined by faculties and independent institutes; some of them are based on study subjects and research centres of TUTKA. Classification and recording practices are further developed as necessary. In individual units, follow-up groups are also used to describe focal areas, research groups and data corresponding major research infrastructures.

Most of the follow-up items are related to one or more JYU units. JYU.* research communities are considered to be university level and are specifically highlighted in Converis forms. In addition, are treated as a separate follow-up group type. Follow-up groups are visible by default only to those Converis, but on request can also be made public in the .

The page lists the follow-up groups marked as active in Converis. The system also contains obsolete or inactive tracking items (e.g. emerging fields) that cannot be linked to new project proposals. More detailed information on using and utilizing follow-up groups can be found at .
