How to apply to the Summer School in Human Sciences

Join us for 1 to 3 weeks of fun and learning in an international atmosphere! The application period for the Summer School is open from early January until 1 March.

Who can apply?

Students from partner universities of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ and students coming within the framework of ISEP Exchange are invited to apply to the Summer School. Also degree and exchange students of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ are welcome to apply. Students from universities which are not partners with the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ are not considered qualified applicants.

Application process

The application period for the Summer School starts in early January and ends 1 March. All applicants will be informed about admissions by email in mid-March. Further information on practicalities (e.g. travel and accommodation) will be sent to the accepted students.

  • Students applying in the framework of the ISEP exchange programme should first contact their study abroad advisor or designated ISEP Coordinator at their home university and first submit an ISEP application through the ISEP online application system. Once the ISEP application has been processed, the accepted ISEP students will be requested to fill in the Summer School application (detailed information will be sent to accepted ISEP students by email).

Language requirements

The minimum requirement for students wishing to study at the Summer School in Human Sciences is level B1, but the applicants should preferably be B2 (or higher) level users of the English language to be able to follow university lectures in English, participate in seminar discussions and understand written material in their field. In addition, most courses require writing essays and written assignments in English. A language test certificate is not required from the Summer School students, however. You can asses your language skills in English according to the .

Costs

Participation in the Summer School courses is free of charge. Students are responsible for covering their own meals, accommodation and travel costs as well as possible visa costs. Small participation fees may be collected for individual events of the social programme. The Summer School is not able to grant any financial support for students.
