To be eligible for our English-taught master's degree programmes, the applicant must hold (or complete by the given deadline) a suitable bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a recognised higher education institution.
The general rule is that if your degree would give you eligibility for master’s-level degree studies in the country in which the degree is completed, it will also give general eligibility for our master’s programmes.
However, if your degree is considerably less extensive than a Finnish bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS credits equaling three years of full-time study), it is possible that you cannot be admitted.
The field of the degree must be relevant to the field of the programme you are applying for. Please see the admission criteria of the programme in question for more details.
