Copies of your official government-granted degree certificate and transcript of records are required.

A notary public must then certify copies of the apostille-verified original documents. Each page of the copies must bear the notary public’s original stamp and the certifying �Ǵڴھ������’s original signature. Alternatively, the notary public can use a unifying element, which means that the pages are bound together in a way that certifies them all. In this case, only one page must bear the notary public’s original stamp and the certifying �Ǵڴھ������’s original signature.

Copies of your official government-granted degree certificate and transcript of records are required.

Please notice that if the degree-awarding institution is located in a country other than Finland (e.g., the UK), you must follow the requirements of that country.

Master's applicants:

If you applied with an incomplete degree and were granted conditional admission, please send your degree certificate and final transcript of records to idp-attachments@jyu.fi. We strongly advise using secure email. We will verify your degree using a national database.

Doctoral applicants:

If you have completed your degree at the Ģ��ֱ��, you do not need to submit officially certified copies of your educational documents. The University will verify your degree electronically from our database.

If you have completed your degree in one of the other universities or universities of applied sciences in Finland, you do not need to submit paper copies of your educational documents by mail. The University will verify your degree electronically using a national database. However, you must upload PDF copies of your degree certificate and transcript of records (the original official documents or officially certified copies) to your application form at Studyinfo.fi.

These requirements only apply to mainland China. Please follow the general requirements if your degree was awarded by a higher education institution in Hong Kong or Macau.

You must submit the following Center for Student Services and Development (CSSD) online verification reports:

• Online Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate
• Online Verification Report of Student Record 

Please submit your documents as soon as possible to CSSD. We will use their verification system to validate and authenticate your reports. Only documents proving the authenticity of the degree certificate and transcript of records (student record) will be accepted. The reports must be valid until 15 July 2025 (only master's applicants).

• the name of the institution that awarded the degree
• the date of award
• the name of the person to whom the degree was awarded
• the academic title/degree (e.g., Bachelor of Science)

Degree certificates and transcripts of records must always be issued by the main university or a college with a degree-awarding status. Educational documents issued by affiliated colleges will not be accepted.

Copies of your degree certificate and transcript of records must be officially certified (attested) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, specifically the Consular and Welfare Wing. Each page of the transcript of records and the degree certificate must bear the original stamp and signature of Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

If your documents are attested with e-attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consular and Welfare Wing, your degree certificate and transcript of records must carry the e-attestation sticker. Please make sure the sticker with the QR code and index number is clearly visible. You are also required to submit the PIN code needed for full document verification to JYU. Both your degree certificate and transcript of records must be verifiable.

Your degree certificate must be awarded by the main university. A photocopy of your degree certificate must be officially certified by an original stamp of the institution and the original signature of the certifying officer. Degree certificates granted by affiliated colleges will not be accepted.

Your educational documents must be submitted as paper copies. The copies must be legalised by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Finnish Embassy in Tehran. Official translations of your educational documents must be certified by the Ministry of Justice. All the copies must bear the original stamp of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Finnish Embassy in Tehran. Copies of copies will not be accepted.
