Bachelor's applicants: Requirements for educational documents

This page gives further instructions and deadlines regarding educational documents when applying for the Business Innovation and Sustainability English-taught bachelor's programme in 2025.

When applying to the international bachelor's degree programme, you must have completed or complete by a given deadline at least one qualification that provides eligibility for bachelor's studies in the awarding country. Depending on the qualification, you may be required to enter scanned copies of educational documents to your online application form on Studyinfo. Please see further information below and also note that deadlines and requirements for the documents can vary between qualifications.

Upper secondary education diploma

Higher education degree

Official translations

All application documents must be available in Finnish, Swedish or English. If the original document was written in some other language, an official translation of the documents must be submitted.

The translation is official if it has been done by the educational institution that awarded the degree or by a certified translator (authorised translator). The certified translator’s stamp and/or signature must be on the translation. If the translation consists of multiple pages, each page must contain either the signature or the stamp of the translator.

Submit scanned copies of the official translations. In addition to translations, submit copies of the original documents in the original language; translations by themselves are insufficient.

We do not require translations of International Baccalaureate-, European Baccalaureate- and Reifeprüfung/Deutsches Internationales Abitur Diplomas.
