The Ģ��ֱ�� is conducting research on how to make the transition from preparatory education to comprehesive education smoother.

In 2024, the University renewed its strategy Wisdom and wellbeing for us all. In its meeting in February, the University Board approved the long-term vision and the structure of the strategy’s development programmes.

The research in the dissertation of Matti Hellgren focused on the scattering of neutrinos off experimentally relevant target nuclei. The results can potentially be used to improve the understanding of e.g. supernova core-collapse events.

Now the use of the application will require that the phone has a sufficiently recent operating system version (Android 10+, iOS 17+).

The Department of Physics is closely integrated in the activities of the CERN research institute. The large experimental collaborations at CERN were honoured with the Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics.
