Seminars provide students and staff with an opportunity to learn new topics and to discuss the latest research results.

Bringing the knowledge to the fore is an important part of the mission. Our events include weekly Departmental Seminars, Colloquia and Dissertations. The language of the announcement is also the language of the talk. Everyone interested in the topic is warmly welcome to come listen to students and researchers present their research!

Light and Matter seminar

Light and Matter seminar get to know each other´s project working in the laser laboratory or on related theory. The seminars are aimed at students, staff and all interested parties. The Light and Matter seminar is organised by the Nanoscience Centre. Anyone interested in the topic is warmly welcomed! 

Nanophysics theory seminar

The Nanophysics theory seminar covers a broad range of topics related to condensed matter, nanoscale, and chemical physics. Most speakers come from local nanophysics theory groups. The seminar is organized by the Nanoscience Centre.
