Seminars provide students and staff with an opportunity to learn new topics and to discuss the latest research results.
We host weekly seminars in different research areas present at the Nanoscience Center. These events provide a platform for visiting researchers, staff members, and students to present their research. Everyone interested is warmly welcome to come to listen to the talks!
Nanoseminars
The Nanoseminars were established to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas, based around a lecture by a world-class invited researcher.
Light and Matter seminars
Light and Matter seminars feature talks by the members the Laserlab-NSC and the qCSI-consortium partners. Seminars are related to light-matter interactions very broadly with research topics ranging from experimental photobiology to high-resolution IR spectroscopy.
Microbiology seminar gathers research groups and interested individuals (students, staff etc.) who are largely interested in microbiology related issues. Several groups associated with the nanoscience center are working with viruses, bacteria or fungi. All these groups and anybody interested will profit from hearing each others research reports and technological advancements.
Master's Thesis in Nanoscience seminar
Students in the nanoscience Master's Degree program present their Thesis projects to a general audience. Presentations are 15 minutes long and they are followed by a short discussion section where the audience is encouraged to comment and ask questions related to the Thesis projects. Seminar events are open to the students and staff of Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥.
Nanophysics Theory seminar
Researchers to present theoretical or experimental results in a wide variety of topics related to condensed matter physics, high-energy physics, and chemistry. The core of the speakers are from the local nanophysics theory groups.
