Welcome to our website! We update and publish research information related to coregonids, their populations and population monitoring methods on this website, e.g. larval density time series of research lakes. The research results are partly based on the Cornet-project. We also study the effects of sulphate on different freshwater and brackish water species. The research group consists of professor Juha Karjalainen, docent Timo J. Marjomäki, doctoral researchers Tuula Väänänen, Xiaoxuan Hu and Mikko Mäkinen, master's students Venla Borg and Pinja Peltonen and laboratory technician Jonna Kuha and a number of seasonal workers.
