Project description
Simo is a multidisciplinary simulation center which includes virtual and real-world simulations for practice, education, and research purposes. The main objective of the project is to create a high quality and multidisciplinary training, education and research center capable of international collaboration in virtual and real-world environments. The project aims to create a high quality eco-system for simulations that can be tailored to needs of different industries. Simulations are cost effective and have a low carbon footprint when they are held in virtual environments which makes them ethically appropriate. The project is a collaboration with JAMK – Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, and the Central Finland Health Care District (KSSHP). Our partners Patria Aviation, Finnair, Synesa Solutions, Osgenic, and Psyon Games all have contributed to designing the simulations. The SimO project is funded by the AKKE financing program.
