Project description
In the Lynch syndrome, lifestyle and biomarkers -study, the importance of lifestyle (physical activity and nutrition) and markers measured in blood is investigated from the point of view of the cancer risk of people with Lynch syndrome. The research material consists of, among other things, information collected using questionnaires and blood samples. Blood samples are analyzed for cell-free non-coding RNA and various metabolic products. Sequencing and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy are used as measuring methods. The research is carried out in co-operation with several Finnish research centres and the Lynch syndrome registry.
