European Union has several frameworks for Digital competence. ILE team has participated in the development and piloting of two self-assessment tools based on the frameworks, as follows:

Pilot testing of DigCompEdu self assessment tool

The project aimed at creating and piloting a self-assessment tool based on the Digital Competence for Educators (DigCompEdu) framework. The tool is intended to help teachers progress towards digital age learning. The framework Digital Competence for Educators (DigCompEdu) describes what it means for educators to be digitally competent. The self-assessment tool is directed towards educators at all levels of education, from early childhood to higher and adult education. The self-assessment tool provides teachers a tool for reflecting on their current take up of digital technologies for innovative and effective learning. The ILE team coordinated the pilot testing of DigCompEdu self-assessment tool in Finnish schools in Autumn 2019.
