Biography
I am a doctoral researcher at the Environmental Physiology Lab of dr. Suvi Ruuskanen. My background is in molecular ecology, conservation genetics and bioinformatics.
Research interests
My aim is to improve our understanding of the relative roles that the environment and host’s genetic background have in shaping the gut microbiome, and how this affects physiological adaptation to a changing thermal environment using the great tit (Parus major) as the study organism.
