Biography

I am a M.Sc. in Health Sciences and work as a doctoral researcher at the Gerontology Research Center, within the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥.

Research interests

In my multidisciplinary doctoral dissertation, I investigate correlates (e.g., personality characteristics and life transition factors), cumulation and stability of health behaviors during late adulthood transition. I am particularly interested in psychological correlates of physical activity. My research is based on data from the Jyväskylä Longitudinal Study of Personality and Social Development (PI Katja Kokko).

The Jyväskylä Longitudinal Study of Personality and Social Development (JYLS): Developmental Psychological Perspectives on Transitions at Age 60: Individuals Navigating Across the Lifespan (TRAILS)

The TRAILS study is a new data collection phase of the Jyväskylä Longitudinal Study of Personality and Social Development, examining specifically at the predictors and mechanisms of mental well-being around the age of 60.
