Biography

I am a PhD researcher in philosophy and I am currently working as a project researcher at the Institute for Educational Research at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥. I am interested both in historical analysis of different forms of philosophical dialogue and their practical applications in higher education and liberal education. I am currently particularly interested in the development of Socratic dialogue as a pedagogical approach to wisdom.

Research interests

In my dissertation, I explore different philosophical conceptions of the role of dialogue in the construction of self-understanding and meaningful world relations. I will use this research knowledge in the development of higher education pedagogy. I study how Socratic dialogue can be applied to foster practical wisdom in student teachers and thus support them in dealing with complex problems in their future work.
