Biography
My research explores intersections between music, health behaviour, and human performance, focusing on how music influences physical activity, exercise, sport performance, and cognitive control. By integrating technology, computing, and interdisciplinary methodologies, my work explores how auditory and sensory inputs contribute to well-being and performance in exercise and sports contexts.
I am interested in the role of music in shaping affective and cognitive processes during physical activity and exercise, and how personalised, technology-driven interventions can influence adherence and motivation in health-related behaviours. My current projects include meta-analyses, systematic reviews and a time-to-exhaustion cycling trial, investigating the impact of music on exercise performance, cognitive control and affective responses.â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹
